These programs are typically implemented in the sweltering summer months when there is a significant demand for electricity because of air conditioning use.
By signing up for a sponsored program, you give your energy provider permission to adjust the temperature of your home during peak hours, reducing the burden on the electrical system. By participating in GIVE Back, GET Back, you have the option to forego a specific event or the whole programme at any moment. The program's rewards and savings options are affected by opting out.

To configure GIVE Back, GET Back settings using the Customer Website:

Log into the Customer Website.
In the Thermostats card, click on the "next arrow" .
Click GIVE Back, GET Back.
Click Settings and Notifications.
Configure the settings as needed.
You'll be notified in advance about thermostat changes through email. There are typically 6 to 10 major events every season. Just raise or lower the temperature during an event to override parameters.
