Using Amazon Alexa, you may access your security panel in three different ways: by partition, set of partitions, or overall device type.
Use the precise name in the command if you want to communicate by partition.
Use a common term in the partition names to communicate with a collection of devices with similar names.
Example: Saying "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm remain the front partitions" will arm both a partition called Front Door and a partition named Front Area.
Say the kind of device in the command to communicate with the complete security system using that generic device type (such as security system or panel).
Example: "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm the panel" or "Alexa, ask Alarm.com is my panel armed?".
