Overview
The Alarm.com for Fire TV app gives TV viewers a video-focused user interface. On the high-definition displays, users may watch all the cameras using an interface designed to be used from a couch. On the screen at once, up to four streams can be shown simultaneously. Depending on the user's choices, if a user has more than four streams, the feeds will alternate every 10, 20, 30, or 60 seconds.
Compatibility
Important: - The Amazon Fire TV app for smartphones is different from the Fire TV/Fire Stick's app. The Amazon Fire TV phone app does not offer live view feature.
All hardware and software versions of the Fire TV and Fire Stick are compatible with Alarm.com.
Doorbell cameras cannot be viewed through the Fire TV app.
The Fire TV and Fire Stick do not support Two-Way Audio.
Note: - Disable the microphone and speaker for the camera when port forwarding a Two-Way Audio device using a Fire TV or Fire Stick.
Installing the app
To install the app from a Fire TV or Fire Stick:
Connect the Fire TV Stick to a compatible television, then finish the setup procedure. You will be directed to the Fire TV Home Screen after the instructional movie is finished.
Press left on the navigation pad of the included remote control until the Search (spotlight) symbol is highlighted, and then hit the Select button.
Enter Alarm with the included remote. After Alarm.com is highlighted, scroll down the list until it appears, then click the Choose button.
Press to pick Alarm.com Video under Apps & Games.
To download the Alarm.com Video app, hit the Choose button once more on the provided remote.
Press the Choose button once more to start the Alarm.com Video app when it has finished downloading.
To install the app from a web browser on a computer:
Connect the Fire TV Stick to a compatible television, then finish the setup procedure.
Enter your Amazon account information.
Click All Apps and Games after hovering your cursor over Departments and the Android App Store.

Just click Alarm.com Video. The search results should list this item first.
Click Download App after making sure your Fire TV device is chosen in the Deliver to: drop-down menu.
Note: - Make sure the Amazon account you are signed into is the same account associated to the Fire TV device if your Fire TV device is not displayed.
Your Fire TV Stick will automatically install the Alarm.com Video app.
Note: - Using the provided remote, head to Settings > My Account > Sync Amazon Content on your Fire TV stick to force the installation of the Alarm.com Video app if it is not already there.
Launching the Alarm.com Video app requires selecting it from your App Library.
Logging into the app
You may activate your device and link your account with an activation code after installing the Alarm.com Video app on it.
To associate your account:
To start the Alarm.com Video app, click the button on the provided remote control and choose it from the App Library.
Open a web browser and type alarm.com/ActivateTV into the address bar, or use a smartphone to scan the QR code.
To activate the device when using a web browser, click or press it.
Enter your Alarm.com login information.
Enter the six-digit code seen on the device in Activation Code, then click or touch Submit.
Changing app settings
To refresh a timed-out feed:
Press the Menu button on the included remote control.
Choose Refresh streams by pressing. All camera feeds will update as the grid view appears.
To change the camera view rotation frequency time:
Using the supplied remote, press the Menu button.
Press to select Settings.
Press to select the desired camera rotation frequency.
To switch between linked accounts with video devices:
Using the supplied remote, press the Menu button.
Press to select Select account.
Press to select the desired account.
To lock a camera into position:
Using the supplied remote, navigate to the camera feed to be locked.
Press the Menu button on the remote.
Press to select Lock frame. To unlock, follow the same steps, but press to select Unlock frame.
To log out of the app:
Using the supplied remote, press the Menu button.
Press to select Log out.
