Overview
The Alarm.com for Apple TV app offers TV viewers a video-focused user interface. On the high-definition screen, users may watch all of the cameras using an interface designed to be used from a couch. On the screen at once, up to four streams can be shown simultaneously. Depending on the user's choices, if a user has more than four streams, the feeds will alternate every 10, 20, or 30 seconds.
Compatibility
The Alarm.com for Apple TV app requires tvOS 11.0 or later.
Almost all Alarm.com cameras, with the exception of doorbell cameras, can be viewed through the Apple TV app.
The Apple TV app supports streaming live video directly from compatible cameras.
The Apple TV app does not support Two-Way Audio.
Note: - Two-Way Audio is not supported by Apple TV. Disable the camera's microphone and speaker when using Apple TV to port forward a device with two-way audio.
Installing the app
Download the Alarm.com app from the Apple TV App Store.
Log into the Alarm.com app.
Changing app settings
To change the camera view rotation frequency time:
Swipe up on the remote's touchpad.
Click Settings.
Click Switch in new camera after.
Click the desired camera rotation frequency.
To switch between linked accounts with video devices:
Swipe up on the remote's touchpad.
Click Settings.
Scroll to Select Account, then click.
Click the desired account.
To lock a camera into position:
Scroll to the camera feed to be locked.
Click and hold until the option to lock appears.
To log out of the app:
Swipe up on the remote's touchpad.
Click Settings.
Click Log Out.
