Can garage door state and open or close the garage door be viewed from the security panel?

Depending on the security panel and garage door control system you have, you may be able to see, open, and close the garage door from that location.

Linear

If you have one of the following security panel types, you can operate your garage door opener (GDO) if it is Linear Z-Wave compatible:

• 2GIG GoControl 1 or 2

• 2GIG GC3

• DSC Touch

• Qolsys IQ Panel

• Qolsys IQ Panel 2

LiftMaster, Genie, and Overhead Door

The following security panels can operate the garage door if you have a LiftMaster MyQ Internet Gateway or MyQ Smart Garage Hub:

• Qolsys IQ Panel 2 on panel firmware version 2.4.0+

• Qolsys IQ Hub

• Qolsys IQ Panel 4

Note: - The Qolsys security panels do not yet allow MyQ Gate Openers for viewing or managing status.
